Okey dokey, friends and family, the good news is that my speaking & presenting is going well and after a day of inspiration as a guest at Hay House writer’s workshop, I’m back working on my next book. I’ve added in a new excerpt below. I think I am going to blog about the book as I write it. It is called:
“Fit, Healthy, Happy.”
(with a byline of, ‘how to get fit, healthy and happy by listening to your intuition’)…
It is a book for those of you who, like me, want to and enjoy being that way… I wrote the following part this morning, it is like is a vision statement within the book to help you start getting clear on how you want to be, on how you will feel when you are ‘fit, healthy & happy.’ A vision statement is a bit like a goal – where you are beginning with the end in mind. So here goes:
“In your vision, you are strong, fit, healthy and happy. You know that you have important, unique gifts and talents to share with the world, that are valuable for others.
Your life is satisfying, it is not perfect and still you understand that in this exquisite imperfection, there is beauty, there is love and there is life. Every-day-moments are appreciated and your gratitude for all that you are and all that life is, attracts more and more wonder and abundance to you. You know the secret that ‘life’ is magical and wonderful in itself. You know that the miracle of a blossoming flower or baby being born exists within you, this is the Divine within you. Your strength, love and happiness is within.
Along with that divine knowledge, you know that the human experience can be as challenging as it is exquisite. You know that it is not supposed to always be easy, there will be difficult challenges along your way, including accepting and overcoming emotions like stress, anger, sadness, fear and longing. Now, through your own journey, you know that you have the strength to go on and move through these. You can even see the gift of ‘perspective’ that they bestow upon you because as a result of these trying times, now, you see life in a different way. Your life experience has taught you something that only it could do and you have a greater appreciation for the blessings and direction in your life because of it.
You appreciate your body. You are not concerned with your weight because you know it is healthy for you, it may vary a little from time to time or it may stay the same, which is totally okay because you know that it is a healthy weight for you. Your appreciate your body, you know it is one that allows you to engage with life in wonderful, meaningful and satisfying ways. You do not feel the need to compare yourself and your body to others because you know that it is unique, different and special, exactly as are you. You feed your body nutritious food as fuel for well-being and also are free to enjoy treats and social occasions with food being a wonderful part of it. You exercise regularly in a way that you enjoy and feels good for your body and you. You may even partake in fitness challenges which feed your heart and soul as well as help your body become even fitter and healthier.
You choose to live a life by your values, leading from within, from your heart. You don’t always have all the answers or know what to do, however now, you know that even this uncertainty is a gift which you cherish, as you keep walking in the direction of your dreams.
You always remember to give and receive love. You are living a purposeful and satisfying life with loving and meaningful relationships with others and our world.”
Back to my presenting work, I am really lucky to be working with really great clients, who are incredible people in their own way and it has been easy to collaborate with them to bring powerful and life-changing events to life. Recent happy and satisfied clients are NAB Bank, RUOK Day and Canterbury Girls Secondary College.
Love you all. xxx
